Privacy Policy
Information we collect
together processes the information needed to provide your account and the app experience:
- Your profile name, bio, avatar, and account identifiers.
- Friendships, conversations, messages, bond invitations, bonds, and posts.
- Photos you choose from the system photo picker and attach to a cover or post.
- Likes, replies, reports, blocks, and the time used to calculate shared days.
Deleting a post or deleting your account removes the content associated with it where applicable. A generated wallpaper preview is kept only as long as needed. A copy you save to Photos is managed by Photos and the system, not by together.
How we use information
- To provide your account, profile, connections, conversations, and shared memories.
- To deliver content you choose to share and to calculate shared days.
- To review reports, enforce community rules, and respond to safety issues.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
together does not use advertising identifiers, tracking, location, contacts, microphone, or camera data for advertising.
Photos
Photo selection uses Apple's system photo picker. The app receives only the images you explicitly select and uses them for a bond cover or post. The app does not request access to your entire photo library.
When you tap Save to Photos, together asks only for add-only photo permission. The app does not read or browse your photo library through that permission.
Wallpaper exports
A wallpaper can include the bond cover, both selected avatars, the relationship label, the album name, and the original start date. It does not include posts, comments, messages, live day counts, location metadata from the source image, or app interface controls.
Saving or sharing an image creates a copy outside together. That copy may sync through your device or cloud settings, and together cannot retrieve or delete it. Only an active bond that you can currently read can be exported; if the bond becomes paused or unavailable before export, the preview is cleared and export is blocked.
Account and deletion
Sign in with Apple uses Apple's authorization interface. together uses the account information needed to sign you in, maintain your session, and provide your profile.
Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated content, except where retention is required by law or necessary for safety and security.
Reports and blocks
Reports are used to review content and behavior under our Community Guidelines. Blocking hides the person from your lists and pauses shared bonds.
Retention and contact
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect safety and security.
